Philippe Godeau was first a distributor with among others 4 weddings and 1 funeral by Mike Newell, Les Nuits Fauves by Cyril Collard, Watch the men fall by Jacques Audiard, Usual suspects by Bryan Singer, Wild reeds by André Techine …

It was in 1990, on the strength of these early successes as a distributor, that he launched into production.
He has since produced nearly 40 films. Among which Le Garçu by Maurice Pialat, Le 8ème jour by Jaco Van Dormael, Weddings by Valérie Guignabodet, Angry sisters by Alexandra Leclère and The 3 brothers the return of the Unknowns.

The arrival in 2003 of Nathalie Gastaldo as associate producer of Pan-Europeenne is fully in line with a logic of investment and development of the production pole building its own family of authors. Projecting herself internationally, she is at the origin of ambitious adaptation projects such as the franchise Largo Winch – of which the 3rd opus is in preparation-, the Odyssey , retracing the life of Commander Cousteau, or soon the opening of Pan-Europeenne towards animation with Les Légendaires .

In 2009 Philippe Godeau goes behind the camera with The last for the road with François Cluzet and Melanie Thierry (5 nominations for the César) then in 2013 with 11.6 with François Cluzet and Bouli Lanners and in 2019 with Yao with Omar Sy.

Philippe and Nathalie have the permanent objective of choosing high-quality, yet popular, author films.
